A magical tale! - Aladdin Reviews

Walt Disney returns with the magic and splendor in this animated musical adventure that never ceases to charm with it?s wonderful array of imaginative yet exciting characters that amazes all. Directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, the same duo who gave us ?The Little Mermaid? three years ago. With lightning fast animation suited for the intriguing characters on screen, Eric Goldberg will go on to helm his own project three years later in the Disney animation ?Pocahontas?. An under-rated cast of unknowns voiced the major roles which includes Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Gilbert Gottfried, but it was Robin Williams eccentric voiced impersonations and wise-cracking antics that fills the screen of endless memorable laughter. Academy Awards for Best Music, Original Score and Song. The film?s plot and characters resemble those of the silent classic ?The Thief Of Baghdad? released in 1924, which are based on the ?Arabian Nights? fables. Other versions were released in 1940, 1961 and 1978.
